Watercolour on Arches Hot Press, 2013. For this painting I was awarded a ‘Commended’ certificate in the SAA Artist of the Year Competition, 2014. This song thrush was a real treat to paint and is derived from a photograph taken by Kevin Groocock (paid purchase of photo reference).
